Sales on cross stitch patterns and kits abound, but I wanted to share a few that may interest you.  I’m not sure how long any of these sales last, so you may want to hop on them soon if you see something you like.

The Boston Tea Party from Willow Hill Samplings

123 Stitch has a sale on some Willow Hill Samplings designs that have an antique feel to them. The patterns call for overdyed fabric from Picture This Plus and Gentle Art threads. While using these materials will help with the antique look, solid fabric and DMC would work fine, too. There are also several Willow Hill Samplings patterns based on fairy tales.

Zweigart 28-count Ribbon Tablecloth

Needleworkers Delight has various items on sale – Aida and other types of fabrics, stitchband in red and green, leaflets, tablecloths, and more.

Scroll down a little past halfway down the page and you’ll see one of the prettiest items, in my opinion —  the Zweigart 28-count Ribbon Tablecloth, which is on sale for $19.95 in white or cream. It is 55″ square with lace trim. The “squares” have wavy borders instead of the normal straight borders, which make for an unusual look.

If you enjoy stitching on plaid fabric, you may like Zweigart’s Cottage Patterned Fabric, on sale for $24.95 a yard. This is a pretty blue and yellow plaid. It’s the last item on the page.

Finally, Stitching Bits and Bobs has an ongoing clearance sale for various designers and threads. The Victoria Sampler Clearance caught my eye, and there are a lot of gorgeous designs there. I have always had very good service from Stitching Bits and Bobs, though if an item isn’t in stock they end up back-ordering so sometimes you have to wait a little while to get your order. Most of what I buy online I don’t need right away, anyway, so it works for me.

Gold Box from Victoria Sampler

You’ll see banners, boxes, ornaments – designs of all kinds from Victoria Sampler. I think my favorite in this section is on the first page, the Gold Leaflet. It’s a design of a very detailed gold box.
